چکیده

Rhizoctonia solani is a soil- and seed-borne fungus belonging to class basidiomycete capable of living free as saprophyte in the soil. It divided into 14 anastomosis groups (AGs), which are incompatible with each other terms reproduction proliferation. has potential cause disease various annual perennial fruits, vegetables, industrial cereal crops. Plant diseases mostly controlled by cultural methods; however, sometimes chemical control also employed for this purpose. However, these methods insufficient due soil-borne saprophytic nature fungus. Therefore, researchers working on alternative methods. Biological one important ones among Antagonists used biological directly interact R. through hyper-parasitism, antibiosis, or competition. Isolation and evaluation of bacteria and fungi as biological control agents against Rhizoctonia solani.

Rhizoctonia solani is one of the most important limiting factors for potato production and storage in Belgium and worldwide. Its management is still strongly dependent on chemical treatments. The aim of this work was to evaluate the possibility of exploiting bacteria and fungi in order to control this pathogen. Among a collection of 220 bacterial strains isolated from different organs of health...

Cotton Seedlings by Rhizoctonia solani

HOWELL, C. R. 1978. Seed treatment with L-sorbose to control damping-off of cotton seedlings by Rhizoctonia solani. Phytopathology 68:1096-1098. The keto sugar, L-sorbose, inhibits hyphal extension and accumulate in the soil. When applied to seed in crystalline promotes profuse branching in Rhizoctonia solani. When form with sticker, L-sorbose is highly water soluble and may applied to cotton s...

Biological control of Rhizoctonia solani in tomatoes with Trichoderma harzianum mutants

Biocontrol of Rhizoctonia solani in tomatoes cultivated under greenhouse and field conditions was analyzed using the Trichoderma harzianum mutants Th650-NG7, Th11A80.1, Th12A40.1, Th12C40.1 and Th12A10.1 and ThF2-1, respectively. Their innocuousness on tomato cultivars 92.95 and Gondola (greenhouse assays), and on cultivar Fortaleza (field assays) was established. Alginate pellets (1.7 g pellet...

Integration effect of some synthetic fungicides with some biological agent in control of Rhizoctonia solani on cotton seedlings

Rhizoctonia solani is an important soil-borne pathogen which has a broad host range and cause damping-off or rottenness of root and crown of cultivated plants. The combined use of different control methods in IPM programs is an effective strategy against pathogens and is useful especially in resistance management programs. In this study, EC50 and EC25 values of three conventional chemical fungi...
